Senior Secondary School
PVIS is now a SACE International Centre with the endorsement to deliver the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) over a two year period, the equivalent of Year 11 and 12 under the Australian Education System.
Year 11 studies are commencing in 2018 and Year 12 commences in 2019.
At the successful completion of Year 12 at PVIS, graduates will be awarded a SACE qualification that will allows entry directly into an undergraduate degree or course at a University throughout the world without having to complete foundation years.
In order to complete the SACE certificate, students are required to complete five subjects in Year 11 and again in Year 12.
What is SACE?
SACE International is an internationally recognised pre-university program.
SACE International is administered by the SACE Board of South Australia, an independent, statutory authority of the South Australian Government that is responsible for curriculum development and accreditation, assessment, reporting, and certification for the final years of secondary education using the Australian Curriculum.
International acceptance of SACE International, and the program’s proven track record, have led to an increase in the number of SACE International colleges in Asia.
SACE International graduates are eligible for an Australian Tertiary Entrance Rank (ATAR), an internationally recognised University-entrance requirement have entered prestigious universities around the world, including:
- University of Cambridge
- University of Oxford
- Cornell University
- Australian National University
- University of Hong Kong
- National University of Singapore
- London School of Economics and Political Science.
