Rachel Woodley-Higgins joined the team in 2018 at a time of transition for the school. Her drive and leadership has enabled and supported significant growth throughout the school, and particularly in the Primary, EEC and Learning Support.
Rachel has overseen the transition to the Australian Curriculum for teaching, learning and assessment in the Primary School, ensuring all our students have opportunities to access high-quality education here in Vanuatu. Rachel is passionate about inquiry learning and empowering students to have a voice and authentically engage in their own learning. She is excited about further enriching the recent work around student wellbeing and social and emotional learning in 2020 and beyond.
Rachel supports a fantastic team, who are looking forward to further developing the focus on inquiry in the Primary School, implementing the Walker method in the early years and ensuring all our students have the opportunity to have a voice about their school and their learning journey.
